A good morning still mild but clouding over in the afternoon again.
Bobblehead enjoyed a lunchtime rest under the Rhododendron bush, it has been a long breeding season and he still has a youngster to look out for.

I walked on the ranges with a friend this afternoon, but the light was so flat and the pine woods so dark photography was difficult.
Her guinea fowl managed to stay still just long enough for a picture, red lips are definately in this season..

They are excellant guard fowl, the noise they made because I was 'new' in the pen was not to be ignored.
